KEJEBU: Record Breaking Humanitarian Program by Aaraj

KEJEBU: Record Breaking Humanitarian Program by Aaraj

By Abisola Ariwodola,

It was Saturday December 9, 2023, I had woken up stressed from the week activities, after returning from a same day travel, I wanted to rest, then I remembered his invitation to the program alongside other programs, so I thought let me first branch there before going to other places, even in my tiredness: this job ehn, na wa 😂

But what I met there electrified me to my seat 😳. Yes, I have been hearing about what he’s been doing as a philanthropist under Aaraj Empowerment Foundation (AEF), but on the inaugural launch of KEJEBU, I saw him first hand.

Of course, Osun state is blessed with philanthropists, but as an advocate of women and children, I saw Engr Kehinde Raji popularly called Araj took humanitarianism to another level: understanding that feeding was a problem for people in this present economy, he gave free breakfast and lunch to the almost five thousand guests that attended his program, infact some people ate twice and were even calling their family members to come and feed. 😲

Not only that, stating that he is not a politician, and that his empowerment program is not politically oriented, he paid for Osun state Health Insurance Scheme registration of 100 aged person, hence they have access to free medical services at any OHIS registered facility across the local governments in the state, for a period of one year.☺️

He gave Christmas clothing to five hundred aged men and women, and even brought tailors to take their measurements and sew it for them free of charge, and participants who arrived the venue of the program promptly were given free makeup to complement their dressing.💃

He empowered ladies that did vocational training in fashion designing by giving them one hundred thousand naira each as start-up fund, and he also empowered three other ladies with two hundred and fifty thousand naira each to support their businesses, while he gave the coordinators of Aaraj Empowerment Foundation the sum of fifty thousand naira each, and just as he has done he recent time, he announced that another five set of people will be selected and given one million naira each before the year runs out. 👏

Aaraj Empowerment Foundation led by Engr Kehinde Raji, launched AEF Micro Credit Scheme with the sum of 10-milllion naira for nano traders to access the interest free loan, scheduled to start in January 2024, the loan accessed is to be refunded with ten percent of sum collected, for a period of ten months. 👍

At the program Aaraj also gave new set of earrings to adorn female elderlies, he added that KEJEBU is about honouring and blessing female gender in singles, single mothers and aged categories, particularly in the festive season.🤩

The Aaraj Empowerment Foundation AEF has been in existence for over ten years, and he has been doing his humanitarian aid consistently, but decided to loud it, that it is not only politician that can do empowerment program. 🥳

One thing he said that held my thought is that, “I have dedicated my life to serving God and serving people, and I believe in God’s word that says honor your parents, if anyone does otherwise of Gods word, the repercussion will come, hence my decision to assist the aged in my community, starting from my family compound, Ile-Oloya in Isale Osun, Osogbo local government, to the state as a whole, and beyond despite that both my parents are deceased.” 🥰

The KEJEBU Committee Chairman, Olusola Sunday Authority was on ground to ensure the program was successful, he was everywhere putting things in order, kudos to him, for doing what he knows to do very well.💪

Colorful cultural side attractions also held, alongside testimonies of people who Aaraj has assisted medically to foot bills, admission assistance, solving of house problems, empowerment, and even gave gifts of his favorite Arsenal club: to its fans, among others. 🎁

It was a nice and heart warming scene at KEJEBU 2023. Infact, people were not in a hurry to go home, more people kept coming till there were no more seats, he even attended to people and there various cases. The three hours planned program lasted up to seven hours, ogbenutan. 😳

It was prayer rain from everyone that Aaraj Empowerment Foundation AEF philanthropy touched. 🙏 The program has been done and dusted, bit the memory will forever linger. 💖

Kudos to Engineer Raji Kehinde CEO Aaraj Empowerment Foundation AEF, thank you for all you do Sir. May God bless you, AMEN.🙏

Am proud of you, wells done Sir.

People who attended the AEF are plenty, CEO Fortunate Bread, former Boluwaduro local government Chairman Hakeem Tokede , Adelabu Twins, Hon Hajia Monsor Omolewa , Akintomide Mary Akinwusi , Adeniyi Adekemi Grace I see people.

If I don’t mention your name, abeg don’t vex 😊

The program lifted my spirit, and it’s kind of encouraging to know that burdens can be lifted in this economic meltdown, when we support and help each other to live.
