The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Dr. Mutiu Olaleke Agboke has taken the awareness on continuous voter registration forward by paying a sensitization visit to the Orangun of Ila, HRM Oba Wahab Oyedotun in his palace.

The visit which held at the monarch’s palace in Ila-Orangun, Osun state was part of ongoing efforts to engage key stakeholders and their communities ahead of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.

According to the information by INEC, the online pre-registration is scheduled to commence on August 18, 2025, while physical registration will begin on August 25, 2025.

In his remarks, the Osun INEC REC, Dr Mutiu Olaleke Agboke who was accompanied by the Administrative Secretary, Mrs. Victoria Temitayo Adelusi, as well as Heads of Departments, Electoral Officers (EOs), and Assistant Electoral Officers (AEOs) from the three Local Government Areas within the axis, emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in mobilizing grassroots participation.
