EMGS Old Students Association Celebrates Governor Adeleke’s 65th Birthday

The leadership of the Ede Muslim Grammar School Old Students Association recently felicitated Governor Ademola Adeleke on his 65th birthday.

In a statement issued by Alhaji Rasaq Olatunde Bello, President of the Association, and Comrade Abdulraheem Adekilekun, Public Relations Officer, Senator Adeleke was described as a symbol of development and hope restoration.

According to the statement, Governor Adeleke, as the pioneer president of the EMGS Old Students Association, not only pioneered the body but also gave the school direction.

This was evident in the successful planning and execution of the Silver Jubilee celebration in1999], which allowed the school to reflect on its past, present, and future.

Alhaji Bello stated that the entire members of the Old Students Association would forever be grateful to the Governor, a son of the late Balogun of Ede land, for transforming education in the state and prioritizing the progress and development of Ede land. While pledging the Association’s continued support to Governor Adeleke, the Old Students Association prayed to Allah to grant him the enablement to take the state to greater heights.

“We cannot appreciate him enough for changing the face of the school by renovating the dilapidated structures in our school just as he did in schools across the state. We must particularly commend Governor Adeleke for breathing live into several blocks of classrooms in the school that had become death traps from blown rooftops, caved asbestos, etc due to long years of abandonment by past administrations”

“We are particularly thankful to the Governor for the new look that the school is wearing coupled with the provision of teaching equipment”

“We pray for our brother and predecessor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, to succeed in his efforts to reengineer Osun State,” the President added.
