NIESV Commends Osun Government On Moving In Right Direction, And For Collaboration, Assures Of Service Delivery And Development

The Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, Osun state branch has commended the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke for moving in the right direction and collaborating with the institution project development, and land matters in the state.
This was disclosed by the state institution Chairman, ESV (Hon) Adekunle Adedoye FNIVS, RSV at the courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Honorable Adetunji Adeleke Jnr, where they discussed issues affecting the welfare of estate surveyors and valuers in the state.
Adedoye who expressed appreciation to the commission chairman, on the collaboration to address their concerns, highlighted some of the chairman’s approved several requests, such as the welfare of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Mandatory Continuing Development Programs (MCPD), and a National conference for professional members of the association, who are local government staff in the state.
The Association also discussed the role of Estate Surveyors and valuers in generating internal revenue (IGR) for the state government, and ESV Adedoye emphasized the importance of utilizing the expertise of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in the local government employment to improve revenue generation.
The Osun branch NIESV Chairman praised the state government for its efforts in infrastructure development, citing the construction of bridges and roads, while he also commended the government’s commitment to paying workers’ salaries promptly.
ESV Adedoye, who eulogised the government for its willingness to collaborate with the association, expressed optimism about the future of Osun State, citing the competence and capability of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s and his cabinet members.
He maintained that “Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration is working, moving in the right direction, and developing the state, and assured the government and people of service delivery and development.”
The Estate Surveyors and Valuers expert encouraged the state government to continue its collaboration with the association, emphasizing the importance of working together to address the challenges facing the state.
He opined that the courtesy visit was a positive step towards fostering a stronger relationship between the Osun State Government and the Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers NIESV, said the association will support the government in its strides which is expected to yield positive results for the state and its citizens.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Local Government Service Commission, Hon Adetunji Adeleke Jnr, commended the association for its support of the government.
Listing the laudable infrastructural development of the government of Governor Ademola Adeleke, he applauded the professional performance of the institution and agreed to collaboration with the association.
Addressing the institution executives, leaders and members, he reiterated the priority of the Adelekes administration on workers welfare, stating that it will be continuous and in the interest of the people.
At the courtesy visit were the Local Government Service Commission Commissioners such as, Hon Adetoro Jimoh Olarewaju, Hon Adeyemo Adesina Alaran, SA on Local service Commission Hon Ade Adeyemi, Permanent Secretary, Directors among others.
