As residents prepare for the forthcoming local government elections in Osun State, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Transportation has called on residents to vote massively for the People’s Democratic Party.
This as he urged residents to troop out enmasse on February 22nd, 2024 to exercise their franchise in a peaceful and orderly manner.
Hon. Adewale stated these during a house to house campaign around Owode-Ede and neighboring communities as the PDP gear up preparations towards the forthcoming L.G elections.
The Ede born politician said the performance of Senator Ademola Adeleke in office is a pointer to the fact that it is only the PDP that has good intentions for the people.
He stressed that the good antecedents of the Governor in office is definitely what will be replicated at the local government level if the people vote candidates of the PDP on the day of the poles.
Hon. Adewale noted that it is a policy for the PDP to always put the people first in whatever they do, stressing that it is the same reason why Senator Ademola Adeleke is pursing people oriented policies.
While commending the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC for adequate preparation for the election, Hon. Hamid Adewale called on residents to conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner before, during and after the polls.
According to him, “with the performance of our amiable Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke in office, you should now know that it is only the PDP that has the interest of the people at heart.
“I urge you all to go out on the 22nd of this month to vote for the PDP candidates in the elections. If you want what Governor Adeleke is doing at the State level to be replicated at the Local Government level you must vote for PDP candidates.
“A vote for PDP is a vote for progress, its a vote for growth and development”. He stated.
