Sen Ajagunnla Secures Transformers for Federal University Teaching Hospital Ila Orangun and Osun Central Communities

In a significant move to improve power supply and drive development in Osun Central Senatorial District, Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, popularly called Ajagunnla has facilitated the procurement of a 500KVA transformer for the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun (FUSHI) Teaching Hospital, and 300KVA transformers for the Agba community in Boripe Local Government, as well as Osogbo and Olorunda Local Government Areas (LGAs).

This vital acquisition underscores Senator Ajagunnla’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and addressing the critical power needs of his constituency.

The installation of these transformers is expected to significantly boost electricity supply in the university and the affected communities, all of which have struggled with inconsistent power.

The stable electricity supply at FUSHI Teaching Hospital will greatly support its academic and medical operations, while the Agba, Osogbo, and Olorunda communities will benefit from improved access to power, enhancing daily life and supporting local businesses.

Senator Ajagunnla emphasized that this initiative aligns with his commitment to sustainable development across Osun Central, declaring, “Imole (light) has come to stay.” The imminent delivery of the transformers marks a significant step toward addressing the energy challenges in these vital areas.

The transformers will be officially handed over in the coming days.
