Gov Adeleke Congratulates New Osun Online Publishers Association Chairman, Mukthar Ajelogbon

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated the newly elected Chairman of Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA), Mukthar Ajelogbon, Publisher of Osun Reporters.

 

In a congratulatory message by the Spokesperson to the Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor also congratulated other newly elected members of OOPA executives.

 

The Governor urged them to uphold the tenets of journalism as well as take the association to the next level by engaging in consistent fact checking and tackling the menace of fake news adding that the place of online journalism in our society today can not be over emphasized.

 

The Governor said, “I wish to congratulate the newly elected Chairman of Osun Online Publishers Association, Mukthar Ajelogbon, Publisher of Osun Reporters and his executive members.

 

“While I wish them a successful tenure, I want to encourage them to always uphold the tenet of journalism and engage in consistent fact checking while we all tackle the menace of fake news.

 

“The place of online journalism can not be over emphasized in our world today and Osun can not be left out.

 

You have my support and once again I wish you a successful tenure of office,” the governor said.
