Don’t Limit Your Expertise, Use It To Save Lives, HFDI Boss Charges Nurses/Midwives

Nurses and Midwives in Osun state have been charged not to limit their professional expertise, but to use it in saving lives of patients.
This was disclosed by Hope for family Development Initiatives, HFDI Executive Director Ambassador Dr. Aremu Stephen Akinyele at the closing ceremony of the 8-day training on Basic Emergency Obstetrics & Newborn Care (BEMONC), Nursing/Mid-wife in Osogbo.
At the ceremony which include 75 trained nurses, certified at the Nurses House, hosted by Osun State Primary Health Care Development Board, Ambassador Aremu expressed happiness on the new addition to the health sector of the state, and he urged the new nurses/midwives to make professionalism and saving lives, their mantra.
He further encouraged them to portray good welcoming attitude and services at their assigned health facility, and charged them to impact the life of people positively with what they have learnt no matter where they are being posted.
In his closing remark, he appreciated Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and all stakeholder for the initiative, and he pleaded with the government to make resources available at the various health facility, so as to make work easy for the nurses.
During the presentation of certificates to the trained nurses, Dr Aremu Stephen Akinyele appreciated the nurses/midwives who were outstanding at the training.
