Birthday: Bishop Adeoye celebrates Farounbi, Bamidele Salam

The Director of Information of the World Bishops Council (WBC), Africa and the General Overseer of Sufficient Grace and Truth International Ministries, Bishop Seun Adeoye has congratulated Dr. Yemi Farounbi and Hon. Bamidele Salam on the duo birthdays which fall on October 1st.

 

Dr. Farounbi who clocked 80 years was a media icon, a politician and a gentleman per excellence apart from serving Nigeria in different capabilities was a former Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Philippines.

 

Bishop Adeoye in a message sent to Hon Salam who marked his 55 years birthday titled “To a Friend and a Brother indeed” eulogized the assemblyman representing Egbedore/Ejigbo/Ede North and South constituency at the National Assembly for his noble achievements as a federal lawmaker.

 

Parts of the message read, “I honour God in your life and thank the Lord for your dedication to the service of God and humanity and indeed your goodwill towards the men of God. I never regretted supporting you.

 

“Like the Cornelius of old, may your good deeds be manifested before the King of kings. May the labour of your love and work of faith never be in vain but be rewarded in Christ Jesus name. All I asked God is to keep you safe with good health and sound mind”.

 

The clergyman who is also the International Communication Director of Worldwide Anglican Church (WAC) prayed to God to protect both Ambassador Farounbi and Salam to see more years in sound minds and good health.
