Oodua Heritage Awards HFDI Executive Director, Amb Aremu As Outstanding Organisation Of Year 2025

Oodua Heritage Leadership International Platform in conjunction with Akoni Oodua has awarded the Executive Director of Hope for Family Development Initiative HFDI, Ambassador Dr Aremu Stephen Akinyele for running an outstanding humanitarian organisation for year 2025.

 

The award presentation programme which was sealed by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi CFR Ojaja II, held at the palace in the ancient city of Ile-Ife.

The Oonirisa, Oba Ogunwusi who congratulated the Awardees, charged the Akoni Oodua ambassadors to continue impacting their communities and society at large.

 

Pinpointing that Akoni Oodua selection was based on merit, he added that Hope for Family Development Initiative has the history of positively impacting households, persons with disability, vulnerables, women, children and others in Osun, Kwara, Akwa Ibom and other states in Nigeria.

 

Congratulating Ambassador Aremu, he described him as a humanitarian of our time, adding that his love, passion and concern for the life of marginalized and vulnerable children, paved ways and created impact in the field of development work in Nigeria and beyond.

In his remarks, the Executive Director Hope for Family Development Initiative HFDI, Ambassador Dr Aremu Stephen Akinyele appreciated the Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and the Oodua Heritage Leadership International Platform for the Akoni Oodua award.

 

He described the award as a call to do more, while assuring that the organisation will ensure continuous humanitarian support to its beneficiaries in Nigerian states.

 

The award ceremony featured other prominent Nigerians such as Dr Akintunde Akindele Executive Secretary, Osun Health Insurance Scheme OHIS, among others, and it was well attended, as staff of HFDI were also present at the epoch making programme.
