Osun NAWOJ Felicitates with Muslim Ummah on Eid-il-Fitri
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State Chapter, extends its heartfelt felicitations to Muslim sisters within the association and the entire Ummah in the state on the joyous occasion of Eid-il-Fitr.
In a release jointly signed by the Chairperson Comrade Abisola Ariwodola and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi, they implored the Muslim sisters to continue with fervent devotions and prayers for the state and the entire nation.
The release added that Eid-il-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a sacred month of fasting, prayers, self-discipline, and deep spiritual reflection, and as our Muslim sisters celebrate this special day, Osun NAWOJ acknowledges and appreciates their unwavering dedication, resilience, and commitment to both their faith and profession.
The leadership of Osun NAWOJ recognizes the values of love, unity, peace, and generosity that Eid represents and urge all members to embrace these virtues and continue fostering harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect in our society.
Osun NAWOJ also commended the contributions of Muslim women journalists, who, despite the challenges of fasting and professional demands, continue to uphold ethical journalism, inform the public, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
