Food Sufficiency: Senator Fadeyi Procures Tractors To Support Farmers In Osun Central

The Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Distinguish Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi, also known as Ajagunnla has stepped up intervention to boost food production in the ten local governments that made up the district, procuring three tractors to support local farmers and ensure food sufficiency.

 

The tractors underscores the federal lawmaker’s commitment to agricultural development in the district and improve livelihoods, highlighting Senator Ajagunnla’s significant step towards addressing key challenge that hindered productivity in the food production sector.

 

Disclosing this development, Mr. Tunde Badmus noted that the tractors would provide local farmers with the needed farming tool that will aid increased productivity, adding that the tractors is yet a demonstration of Senator Ajagunnla’s contribution to food solution.

 

“I’m pleased to note that Senator Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunnla has taken delivery of three new tractors and they are on their way to Osun as we speak.

 

The tractors are more than just machines but the Senator’s clear intent of empowering local farmers and boosting food production, particularly in the Osun Central Senatorial District,” Mr. Badmus noted.

 

Mr. Badmus also stated that the tractors will be distributed among the three federal constituencies that made up the Central senatorial district, noting that “by providing the tractors, our farmers will have the tool that can significantly increase cultivated lands, hence, boosting crop yields and improving the overall quality of life for our people.”

 

He assured of the Senator’s sustained commitment to the well-being of the people in the district, saying that aside the tractors, the federal lawmaker will distribute fertilizers and farm implements to enhance food production.

 

“I want to assure our people that Senator Ajagunnla is here to enable a situation that hunger is not only banished, but also help our farmers to be respected and rewarded for their hard works.

 

As such, he will be doing more to make sure that the productive activities of our people are supported to yield better outcomes.”
