UNIMED Lecturer Recognised in the Top Two Percents Scientists Worldwide

Dr. Peter Olumuyiwa James, a lecturer at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, has been recognised among the top 2% of scientists worldwide for two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025.

 

Speaking on this feat, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebunoluwa Adejuyigbe, congratulated him and praised his achievement for placing the University on the global map. “I congratulate Dr. Peter Olumuyiwa on this remarkable feat.

 

This is a testament to the hard work and excellence for which UNIMED and its staff are known worldwide. We are proud of this accomplishment,” the Vice-Chancellor said.

 

Dr. Peter Olumuyiwa James is a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. His research focuses on Biomathematics, Infectious Disease Modelling, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing.

 

According to the statement by the UNIMED PRO Isaac Oluyi, the data used for the ranking was verified and sourced from Elsevier and Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists List.
