Osun NUJ Chairmanship Race: Sofiu Abdulganiyu Picks Nomination Form
The Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Comrade Sofiu Abdulganiyu, on Monday formally joined the race for the Chairmanship of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council.
Abdulganiyu, who represents the State Information Chapel, obtained the expression-of-interest and nomination forms, signaling his intention to contest the top position ahead of the forthcoming NUJ elections.
His entry into the race adds momentum to the contest, as stakeholders within the Osun media space anticipate issue-based campaigns and engagements focused on journalists’ welfare, professionalism, and union cohesion.
The former State Information Chapel Chairman was accompanied to pick up his form of intent by representatives of his chapel on Monday at the NUJ State Council Secretariat in Osogbo.
