HFDI Participates in ARFH Training On Equipping Educators, Nurses With Essential Skills

Hope For Family Development Initiative HFDI participated in the training organised by Association of Reproductive Family Health ARFH for educators and nurses in Osun state.

 

The training which was to equip the targets with essential skills held at the Ministry of Education, where knowledge to foster a safe and supportive learning environment for adolescents was discussed.

 

The two-days training programme was funded by UNESCO through Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH),  a leading Non-Governmental and Not-for-Profit Organization.

 

Key areas covered at the training include: understanding adolescent attitudes and how they shape learning experiences, and strategies for promoting a safe school environment.

Discuss also held on the core objectives of the O3 Project, which aims to improve comprehensive sexuality education and adolescent well-being.

 

The participants engaged in discussions and practical sessions on how to implement these learnings in schools, facilities and communities.

 

Collaboration was agreed upon by the participants and stakeholders to ensure safe, inclusive, and supportive educational spaces for all young people.
