Governor Adeleke Is Poised To Make Osun Transportation Sector Best in Nigeria – SSA on Transportation, Salaam Adewale

Osun State residents have been assured that the state’s transportation sector will be revived to ensure better management, convenience and safety of lives of all commuters.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Transportation, Hon. Salaam Hameed Adewale stated this while featuring on a weekly radio programme tagged: ‘Aabo Loju Popo’ monitored on OSBC radio.
Hon. Salaam Adewale said plans are underway to make the Transportation sector in Osun state one of the best in country, stressing that the Governor decided to upgrade the former office of Transportation to a Ministry to make things work better.
While highlighting some of the achievements of the Ministry of Transportation since inception, the Governor’s aide explained that things have already began to take better shape in the sector.
He explained that commuters should be rest assured of a good treatment from members of the Osun State Transport Management System (OSTMS) as series of meetings have been held with the leadership to ensure better service delivery.
Hon. Adewale added that commercial motorcycle operators in the State are now safe to ride on as they have all been registered with the Ministry of Transportation and given rider’s jacket as well as identity cards for identification for the safety of the rider and the passenger.
Speaking on revenue generation, the Senior Special Assistant explained that ,measures are being taken everyday to block leakages for the revenue generation of the State through the Ministry of Transportation to increase.
While saluting Governor Ademola Adeleke for his vision for creating the Ministry, Hon. Adewale thanked him for supporting the Ministry to enable it achieve the vision of making the Osun Transportation Sector the best in the country.
