Gov Ademola Adeleke has outlined Osun State’s 2025 Infrastructure Plan, detailing strategic investments across key sectors to drive development and improve the quality of life for residents. The projects, covering road infrastructure, education, and healthcare, are designed to enhance connectivity, boost economic growth, and improve social services.

 

*ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE*

 

*The government has earmarked major road projects to improve transportation and economic activities across Osun State:*

 

1️⃣ Completion of Osogbo – Iwo – Oyo State Boundary Road – ₦5,940,793,414.71

 

2️⃣ Completion of Osogbo – Ikirun – Insha – Kwara State Boundary (Phase III) – ₦13,708,309,766.47

 

3️⃣ Reconstruction of 5.1KM Ejigbo – Isoko – Aye-Oguro Road – ₦3,018,747,965.97

 

4️⃣ Dualisation of 6.6KM Odo Ori Junction – Post Office Junction – Adeeke Junction with Spur to Oluwo Palace – ₦10,421,756,647.87

 

5️⃣ Rehabilitation of 32KM Ejigbo – Iwo Road in Two Phases (Phase I: 20KM) – ₦11,250,210,420.00

 

6️⃣ Construction of 8.5KM Iragberi-Ikotun-Ara Road – ₦4,345,992,620.00

 

7️⃣ Dualisation of 3.55KM State Secretariat Roundabout, Abeere – Ojoro Road (Phase I) – ₦9,239,758,608.37

 

8️⃣ Dualisation of 3.85KM State Secretariat Roundabout, Abeere – Ojoro Road (Phase II) – ₦9,724,699,096.97

1️⃣3️⃣ Upgrading, Lighting, and Beautification of Major Roads and Roundabouts in the State Capital – ₦5,000,000,000.00

To enhance learning environments and improve education infrastructure, the government will renovate and upgrade several schools across the state:

 

✅ Renovation of Ede High School Hall and Pavilion – ₦50,276,412.52

 

✅ Renovation of a Block of Four Classrooms at C.A.C. Grammar School, Ede – ₦171,580,936.43

 

✅ Renovation of Agboran School of Science, Ede South – ₦200,019,700.00

 

✅ Renovation of Oranmiyan Memorial Grammar School, Ile-Ife – ₦149,546,073.60

 

✅ Renovation of an Examination Hall at Seventh-Day Adventist Grammar School, Ife – ₦81,841,871.60

 

✅ Renovation of a Block of Four Classrooms at St. David’s Grammar School, Ile-Ife – ₦30,880,593.06

 

✅ Construction of a Modern Administrative Office in Ilesa Zonal Education Office – ₦53,767,064.12

✅ Renovation of Two Blocks (8 Classrooms & Exam Hall) at Ogedengbe School of Science, Ilesa – ₦137,047,772.40

 

✅ Renovation of School Hall at Community High School, Ilesa – ₦56,720,181.00

 

✅ Renovation of Two Blocks (6 Classrooms) at Islamic High School, Ikire – ₦178,280,175.80

 

✅ Renovation of Two Blocks (8 Classrooms) at St. Augustine’s Commercial Grammar School, Ikire – ₦171,580,936.43

 

✅ Renovation of Methodist Grammar School, Iwo – ₦141,695,950.55

 

✅ Renovation of Science Laboratory at Oke-Ile Grammar School, Oke-Ila – ₦81,748,651.60

 

✅ Renovation of Two Blocks (8 Classrooms) at Unity School, Iragbiji – ₦40,246,657.61

 

✅ Renovation of a Block of Four Classrooms at Ekusa Community Grammar School, Ekusa – ₦171,129,179.76

 

✅ Renovation at Nawarudeen Grammar School, Osogbo – ₦19,877,704.00

 

✅ Renovation of a School Hall at Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo – ₦97,234,520.00

 

✅ Renovation of a Block of School Hall at St. Mark’s Commercial High School, Osogbo – ₦98,239,569.25

*HEALTH SECTOR*

To strengthen healthcare services, Osun State will complete the renovation of additional 124 Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) across the state.
