E-Registration: Ifedayo Youth Vanguard Encourages Osun Residents to Register with Accord

A youth movement group from Ifedayo local government, Ifedayo Youth Vanguard (IYV) has called on residents of Osun State to register en masse with Accord Party, saying the party is well positioned to win the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state and strengthen its chances ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the group, Olasunkanmi Adefila, the youth body described the ruling party in Osun as a people-oriented platform that deserves the support of residents across the state.

According to him, the ongoing nationwide membership e-registration exercise provides an opportunity for citizens to formally identify with a political movement committed to the welfare and development of the people.

“Accord is the party that we should all register with in Osun and across Nigeria. When you look at the manifesto of Accord and compare it with the governance style of Ademola Adeleke, you will agree that the focus is clearly on the welfare and progress of the people.

Adefila noted that the administration of Governor Adeleke has delivered visible improvements in infrastructure, workers’ welfare, education, and grassroots development within the last three years.

He said the governor’s performance has earned him widespread support among youths and residents of the state, stressing that the best way to sustain the progress is for citizens to formally align with the party through the membership e-registration exercise.

“There is no doubt that Governor Adeleke has done exceptionally well in the last three years. His leadership has brought renewed hope to many communities across Osun. He deserves the continued support of the people, and this support should begin with getting ourselves registered as bona fide members of Accord in the state.”

The youth group also urged young people, artisans, market men and women, and professionals to take advantage of the digital registration process to join the party and participate actively in shaping the future of the state.

Adefila further emphasized that broad participation in the membership exercise would strengthen democratic engagement and ensure that the voices of young people are reflected in governance and policy decisions.

He concluded by encouraging residents to mobilize friends, family members, and colleagues to register, noting that a stronger membership base would help consolidate the developmental strides being recorded in the state.

“We therefore urge every resident of Osun to come out and register with Accord. Let us give the necessary support to Mr. Performer, our dancing and working Governor, and together continue the journey of progress and people-centered governance in Osun State.”
