Oyelami Congratulates Basiru Over Elections As APC National Secretary
A leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Isokan South Local Council Development Area, Ikoyi, Osun State, Prince Wasiu Oyetunji Oyelami has congratulated Senator Ajibola Basiru on his election as National Secretary of the APC.
Basiru was adopted as National Secretary of the APC, at the National Executive Committee meeting of the ruling party in Abuja on Thursday following the resignation of Senator Iyiola Omisore as the National Secretary of the party.
Oyelami who was the immediate Chairman of Isokan South Local Council Development Area, Ikoyi in Osun State, noted that the election of Senator Basiru as the new national secretary of the APC was a perfect decision which will add glamour to the party Nationwide.
Oyelami said he believed Basiru, who represented Osun Central Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly and was Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs has all it takes to take APC to higher level, saying he is a consummate politician who comes on board with a lot of experiences.
“On behalf of my family and the entire members of our Party in Isokan South LCDA, Ikoyi, I congratules Senator Ajibola Basiru on his election as the National Secretary of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“May the Almighty Allah continue to grant you and other members of the NEC sound health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding required to function optimally in your new office”, Oyelami prayed.
