Osun 2022: Oyetola Will Not Revert To Modulated Salaries – Boripe LG Stakeholders

Residents of Osun state have been assured that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will not revert to the payment of modulated salaries as being rumoured by some people, as the State approaches the July 16 gubernatorial elections.

This is just as the people were assured that the various masses friendly policies of the present administration will continue none stop in a bid to put more smiles on the faces of the people.

Stakeholders in Boripe local government, Iragbiji and Boripe North LCDA, Iree made these known while speaking during the re-election campaign of the Governor tagged “Sweet home coming for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola”.


According to some of the stakeholders such as the Eesa of Iragbiji, Chief Muraina Oyelami and the Executive Secretary, SUBEB, Mr Adeoye Bakare, the need for the people not to be afraid can not be overemphasized as the duo in separate interviews described Governor Oyetola as a sincere person who doesn’t just talk, but says what he will do.

While further describing the Governor as an astute politician, a seasoned administrator and gentle man par excellence, the Eesa of Iragbiji particularly admonished residents not to be afraid of the unfounded rumors alleging the governors secret intent of reverting to modulated salary regime, as was the case in the immediate past administration.

Similarly, Mr Bakare who also vouched on the integrity of governor Oyetola maintained that Osun is endowed with a principled man at the helm of affairs known for a well entrenched sense of sincerity which can not be faulted by known and unknown naysayers .

The Osun Executive Secretary of State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB who also noted that governor Oyetola is not a liar stressed that other well known virtues of humility, sincerity and credibility informed why he runs a prudent government for the people of Osun.

In his own remarks, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Mining, Mr Wahab Oyeniyi said Osun became lucky the very moment Oyetola was elected in 2018 as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Oyeniyi therefore called on all and sundry to vote massively for Governor Oyetola during the July 16th governorship election so as to allow more dividends of democracy to flow.

He said, “if previous administrations had done what Oyetola is doing now, the state would have been better, it is no more news that Osun is one of the consistent Contributory Pension scheme paying states in the country .

“I urge you to ignore naysayers, Governor Oyetola is a good manager and administrator, an Omoluabi who doesn’t speak much and doesn’t lie about his capability, he will continue to implement programs and projects for the benefit of the people of Osun state”. He said.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Engr. Toke Olaniyan observed with satisfaction how Governor Oyetola has put the state on a good pedestal of growth and development as well as prosperity level which, he noted Osun lacked before his arrival, emphasizing that the state is no more nose diving into debts as was the case before he took over in 2018.

The State Chairman, Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Mr Olajire Aweda in the same vein lauded Governor Oyetola for his people centred administration during his about to be completed first term of four years.

Mr Aweda while also drumming the need for people of Osun to get Oyetola returned as governor assured that life will further become more juicy for the people.

He particularly thanked and appreciated the present administrations disposition to transport workers/owners in the state with a declaration that they have never had it so good and rewarding as things are now under Oyetola.

Members of different ethnic nationalities, artisans ,groups, associations, market men and women and the public including stalwarts of APC were at the re-election Campaign of the governor which took place at his country home, Iragbiji, the headquarters of Boripe local government before moving to Ikirun, the headquarters of Ifelodun local government.
