Local Govt Commissioner Seeks Support Of Osun Council of Obas
…says present administration will always recognise Royal Fathers…
Osun Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs, Hon. Dosu Babatunde has sought for the Cooperation and support of the traditional Institutions in the state in order to succeed in office.
He stated this while speaking at the monthly meeting of Osun State Council of Obas held at their Council Chambers under the Chairmanship of His Imperial Majesty the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The Commissioner appealed for more support for the present administration, describing Governor Ademola Adeleke as a sincere governor who will fufill all his campaign promises to the people.
Hon. Babatunde reminded all of the confidence that Governor Ademola Adeleke has in them, and that he will not relent in supportting the traditional institution.
In their separate remarks, the monarchs appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke for his continuous effort in seeing to the welfare of citizens of the State including the traditional rulers.
While they also prayed for a successful tenure of Office for the Commissioner and the two Special Advisers.
In attendance were the the Special Adviser to the Governor on Chieftaincy affairs, Alhaji Adam Akintunde Akindeere, and Special Adviser on Local Government, Hon. Oluwasegun Godday Olije, as well as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministy, Mr Femi Ogundun.
Others are: Director of Local Government Affairs and Inspectorate, Mr Adelabu Tajudeen, Director of Adminstration and Supplies, Mrs Hellen Sofarasin, Director of Chieftaincy, Mr. Bashir Oladipupo and Director of Finance and Account, Mr. Olalekan Jimoh.
