COMMIT TO PROFESSIONALISM LG COMMISSIONER CHARGES WOMEN ENGINEERS

Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Dosu Babatunde has charged the Association of Professional Women Engineers in Nigeria (APWEN), Osogbo Chapter, not to relent in exhibiting quality and standard in order to set the pace for others to follow.
Barr. Babatunde gave the charge in his office during a courtesy visit by members of the Association of Women Engineers, APWEN, Osun Chapter who came to rejoice with him on his new appointment.
The Commissioner, who described the female Engineers as highly knowledgeable, pledged the Ministry’s support to the Association, urging them to step up their commitment to excellence in engineering.
Earlier in her welcome address, the President of the Association, Engr.(Mrs.) Ayotunde Akanni had congratulated the Commissioner and solicited his cooperation with the Association.
